Ah, that could be mine and my mums story :cry: She helped to pay for my band but was to ill to undergo surgery herself. She passed away in January and I miss her so, so much :cry:

Awww Im so sad after reading that, what a wonderful thing that Mum did for her child, thankfully none of my kids have my weight issues but it was always one of my main concerns when they were growing up.
Maz your Mum must have been a wonderful woman and I bet you miss you so very much. It will get easier to bear as time passes but you will always miss her (HUGS) X
