The Rolling stones!

Sit down Michael -not your lot!

I'm talking about the Stones that roll off after surgery.

This morning has been one of those milestones for me. I've been keeping busy and active to help the process along and lo and behold.....today I crossed the 17st barrier to 16st 12.

Although I've 'only' ( and I use the word 'only' very wrongly) 3 st 4oz since Jan 24th, and still have around 4/5 st to go, I feel fantastic every time I click the scales down another stone.

In between stones is a more tentative period - I'm sure my scales are ex TV scales.....They pause for dramatic effect every time I stand on them as if to say...Your weight this week is ......( insert dramatic heartbeat sound while taking an infeasibly long time to complete the sentence) ...........So the distance between each Stone is a little manageable journey for me than looking at the whole distance to go, which makes my impatience at wanting to lose all my excess weight more palatable.

How do you think about your journey? The single step philosophy or the big push?

My journey?

A four year road trip! With the occasional diversion along the way.

Totally agree with the 'next stone down' on the scales - such a boost.

My journey is every stone away from being nearly 27st is something to celebrate :) better than focusing on the bigger picture right now :)

And well done!!!
