the waiting!!!!

I am still patiently(or not so patiently )waiting for my first appointment to come through the post for my first appointment at the L&D.

The waiting is killing me...:sigh:

I think it says something when your on first name terms with your postman.Or that you get to the door to collect post before the dog lol.

In the world of email, fax and phone you would have thought this process would be a tad quicker..lol

I couldnt agree more Lisa, the waiting is an absolute killer! Thank God Im nearly there now but its been the longest 2 years of my life! I feel like I stopped living my "normal" life, every waking moment seems like it was spent thinking about WLS! I think the worst part is waiting for appointments, once you get them you can try and stop calender watching for a while as you know how long till the next one but not knowing when the next one will come is a nightmare! I really feel for all of you who are waiting, all I can say is I hope it passes quickly for you When you look back it seems like its gone pretty quick! Your turns will come, I never thought Id be a fortnight away from surgery but here I am

I think that might be my dog you can smell Kelly, hes just let one go and he reeks!!! Im sat her typing with my head in my top trying not to smell the air Dirty boy he is! x

lol...i blame the dog too Jacqui...lol
My G..P has already wasted enough time...
I made them fax my referral on the 3rd sept...
The G.P claimed to have sent it but the hospital never received it(convenient..she says sarcastically!!!.)more like my G.P has hindered it again.
If i haven't heard by Friday then I will ring hospital again(I think 2 weeks if a fair time to wait!!!!)
It not in today's post...

Jacqui my neighbours are starting to talk the amount of time I spend chatting to my postie lol

At least if I get my first appointment in my hand I can relax and make arrangements with babysitters and OH getting days off etc.
I am so glad you guys are near the end of this awful waiting process....it seems like a million miles away to me right now.

On a more positive note ,I am getting my iphone tomorrow,so that will keep my fingers busy for a few days lol..
