The wonder of actimel.

Actimel is amazing. It helped me alot with gas & indigestion pre-op & didn't think about taking it post op.

I was in a lot of discomfort yesterday. I had a burning sensation in my right shoulder & just felt low.

This morning, I had a bottle a bottle of actimel and another one an hour ago and my stomach feels fine, no pain, no gas or bloating and im only 6 days post op.

I will definitely continue to take it on a daily basis. I hope it helps you too!

Interesting. I didn't have any wind pain yesterday and today either, but didn't associate it with the Actimel (I started drinking it yesterday too). I just thought, at 9 days post-op, I was finally past that phase.

I have taken an Actimel every day since starting my pre-op diet. I read recently about some research indicating there is real evidence that bypassers who take a pro-biotic every day actually do better than those who don't. So keep it up !

This is interesting as I always thought there was loads of sugar in Actimel and something we should avoid. Must do my research and find out more about this. Do you know where you found this information.

Hmmm, probably sometime last year on this website...Dr. Sharma's Obesity Notes
I'm sure it didn't mention Actimel specifically, but the benefits of taking a daily pro-biotic.
