Ticker please help

Can someone pleassssssse give me the idiots guide to adding a ticker, or could someone add it for me? I would be ever so grateful I have tried to do it 3 times now. I do manage to get it and set to the right weight etc, but it's the cutting and pasting I can't seem to do.
