Time in hospital?

Whats the average time in hospital after a bypass if everything goes ok?Maz x

I only had to stay in for one night x

2 nights for me and mine was textbook

They tried to kick me out after one night but I was a bit scared to be honest lol......I thought "OMG Ive just had major surgery I cant go home!" Luckily they were fine about it and said if I felt like I needed to stay an extra night I could....so I did The next day I actually thought I probably could have gone home as I wasnt as poorly as I expected to be.........that sounds daft but thats how I felt and Bev said she was a bit like that today too! You think because its a big op you will feel really poorly after and after the first night you actually dont feel too bad XX

I had my surgery monday morning and was let home tuesday after dinner. so 1 night.

Op Monday morning, discharged Wednesday afternoon, its the L&D policy

Mine was 2 nights because of travel distance.

Had mine on the monday and was out the wednesday morning.

Iv been told first night in HDU and the second night on the ward...then home sweet home Maz...i suppose it depends on the patient. xxx

went in on Sat morning came out on sunday 4pm it was key hole though

i had op friday morning, and went home sunday tea time, which i think is about the average length of time. i couldnt have gone home af ter one night.

hi i had my by-pass monday afternoon and came home wed afternoon, but i needed to have someone to look after me for me to come out. i know i would have struggled to come home after 1 day x

Sunday lunchtime til Wednesday lunchtime... would not have made it out on the Tuesday...

i should of been in for 2 nights but i caught pneumonia and was in a 3rd night so they could get antibiotics in to me
