To do, or not to do is the question

Hi everyone,
Just a few days ago I saw my neighbor who looked fabulous and we chatted about her operation (gastric bypass) she said I should become a member of this forum and soak up all the information I could.
I kind of mentioned to my husband and daughter about having an operation and they replied with a shrug and said I was taking the 'easy road' to losing weight. This makes me furious. I have tried everything humanly possible (except operations) and nothing seems to work.
Any tips to get my spouse and daughter on my side?
greetings,
Pat:sigh:

Hello
I have a lovely but worried husband. I have tried to show him the post op diet to show him I will be able to still have some normality with a sleeve. I have tried to transfer nearer to home (wanted this at James Cook but funding at Sunderland so stuck with Sunderland, thought closer to home would have helped change his mind). He is sort of coming round and really he is worried about me getting slim and leaving. I think once you press ahead, then the concerns will appear and then you can deal with them at the time. Best of luck xx
