Hi my weight loss journey has begun now and I have to lose between 5-10kg before the 4th June to be put on the list for surgery. Today is day 1 of my diet and I have brought an old photo of myself looking 5 stone lighter and put it on my desk as work is the biggest place i am tempted by the dreaded VENDING MACHINE :eek::eek::eek:
Every time I feel like snacking on unhealthy treats I will look at my photo and remind myself of how much better I felt and looked back then. Maybe you guys who are in the same prediciment can try a visual aid to boost your determination too xxxxx ;)
 
Fair play to u!!! Visual aids are great :) I wish u all the luck!!!! You will do fantastic!!! Keep a strong head and remember ur goal!
I'm 3lb off 6stone loss. It's so difficult but if u can remember, slips will happen and we have to deal with it and move on.
I find if I deprive myself too much then I binge and find it hard to get going again.
So now I try have small cheats every now and then.
But water, green tea and a happy mind is the way to go!!!
