tummy ache

I found gripe water helped immensley with me (and plenty of movement), Ppl tried and found that other remedies/tips for them worked, each to their own , hope u feel better soon xx

How are you feeling now Zoe? I hope it's settled?

i think your ok with most indigestion remedies zoe, and definately things that youd give a baby, i know deflatin is ok to take too, and thats great for trapped wind. so id give that a try, phatmomma swears by deflatin.

Hi Zoe and hoping you are soon feeling much better... it's no fun having tum pains... take it steady love and take special care precious xxx

Oh good, I was getting a bit concerned. Big hugs. I find a warm bath helps me with tummy ache these days too. xxxx

I personally found deflatine useless...infacol or gripewater is good, peppermint tea or even small sips of warm water is quite soothing. I still find occasionally I drink too fast, especially squash and then get a really peculiar feekling in my pouch, followed by lots of gurgling then eventually a big burp which usually clears it!

I find that when I get thirsty at night and try to drink, even sips, my pouch hates it and gets very sore and cross. maybe because I'm drinking lying down.

I think you are totally right Charis, that's when mine complains the most & it's when I'm laying down too!

maybe we just need to sit up to drink! I use a sippy cup so its not wind.
Does your pouch go hard Angie? Mine feels a bit like its going into spasm. Its horrible. :(

Hmmm....that's a really good way of describing it...I'm going to pay attention next time (probably tonight!!!) and try to think about how it feels....it is such a weird sensation! Totally my own fault though, I forget and still try to gulp down fluids too quickly...I know it's habit because for years I have always been in such a rush that food & drink has always been rushed too...one day I am sure it will go in that I have to take dainty lady-like sips!!!!

but even with little sips it gets cross with me. I think its positional Angie.

I still struggle when I am really thirsty I just want a big glug of juice or something - too used to downing a whole glass of squash or similar. Now I have a big glug then when I can almost feel it 'blocking the plug' I panic!! Really still struggling to get enough fluids down and know I am thirsty quite a lot of the time and cant physically drink enough between eating! Arrrrgggggghh!!
