Hello
Just decided after many years of putting up with the aftermath of a large baby ( 9 years ) on my body that I'm going for a tummy tuck , I'm 44
I haven't lost lots of weight , maybe 2 stone and I think the surgeon will ask me to lose one more at least , maybe 2 , I'm not sure I'll be able to reach an ideal weight , is this going to be a deal breaker ?
I've booked a consultation with Dr Adrian Richards at three shires hospital in Northampton
Any thoughts from people either on this surgeon or procedure would be appreciated
I expect surgery to be in March as I need a time where I can take 2 weeks off work , so lots of time to get my body ready for surgery
I definitely have a gap in my stomach muscles from carrying a 10 lb baby for 42 weeks and excess skin that does not improve with weight loss but just looks worse if anything
Looking forward to hearing about others experience
Sally
