Uncomfortable and puffed up!

I cant wait for this summer to be over already.. I am so uncomfortable and swollen.. my ankles are huge my fingers are like sausages.. I love the sun but I'm too big to enjoy it now and feel so fed up

I'm with ya mandy...it's no fun at all. I remember a few years ago coming home from work on the bus and being really really hot. Temperatures were high and i was sweating like a pig.
Two old ladies on the bus decided it would be a good idea to have a discussion about my misfortune for all to hear!!!

Old lady 1 - Ooh it's terrible aint it when you're BIG.
old Lady 2 - i know, my grandaughters a BIG en. She sweats alot as well when it's hot. I keep tellin her to lose abit of weight but she doesn't listen.

I had the pleasure of sitting at the front of the bus, travelling backwards, so all eyes were on me...i could have died!!

Roll on next summer, we can have a beach party and all wear our bikinis, and the fellas can wear there thongs. lol

Os Sarah people can be so cruel even if they are trying to be kind. I can imagine how you felt I bet it hurt a hell of a lot. There are times the kids at work make comments or snigger as they pass me by. My poor son was excluded thankfully only for 1day as he thumped someone who said something about my size in front of him and kept going even when he asked them to stop so had mitigating circumstances taken into account. Poor lamb he shouldn't have hit out but it was extreme provocation.

Ouch Sarah! I feel your pain! I avoid public transport (except when my car is in the garage) for fear of taking up one and a half seats or not being able to squeeze past if passengers are standing.

Firstly Sarah, don't you know old ladies are aloud to be rude ignoramus? Don't you take it too heart because this time next year you will be the skinny woman sat at the back of the bus going on about growing old with dignity and not having 'blue' hair lol...

Now for the summer thing... I have to say i am 72lbs lighter than i was this time last year and it's been great. I walk (fast) and i'm not red faced or nothing. Yesterday after getting off the train from a full days work i went the gym and got all red faced then did the mile (most of it uphill) walk home and it felt bl00dy marvellous i tell ya. Okay i ached a bit but nowhere near as sweaty or tired as just the walk alone would have left me this time last year. Actually i wouldn't have attempted the walk last year i'd have jumped on a bus or had a taxi....

Don't you lovely curvacious ladies worry, next summer is gonna be your summer to strut your stuff xx

I remember this when I was heavier, chaffing between the upper legs and it bleeding and stinging where so sore and stinging like **** when I got into the bath, same with chaffing /smelling and soreness under me boobies as well......gawd I still remember all this like it was yesterday - it does get better. xxx
