Underactive Thyroid and gastric bypass

Hi

Has anyone else who has an underactive thyroid had a gastric bypass??

Did it make a differance to your meds or anything??

i have a very under active thyroid, on 225mcg a day, not had a TFT yet so no idea how its been affected by the bypass, however i have been told that the meds could be reduced once i lose some weight

I also have under active thyroid but not had my op yet, 15 days to go! Will let you know if anything changes post op
