Been to chichester today, they seemed pretty impressed with me so far, said im doing well, i just need to concentrate on fluids and trying to eat bit slower!
they have given me the go ahead for swimming, and my boxing in small doses, and will see me again in 6 weeks....
lost 2 stone since op, and 4 stone 7 since october! xxx
Blimey you're quick off the mark. I've only just got back, spent a bit of time in Horsham on the way back. As you know they told me the same, doing well, bang on target, just try to relax, haha. You've done really well.
cos i was honest with them as iv been sick twice, and i thought it could be eating wrong thing, too fast or too much, explained it all to her and she just said maybe try and slow down a little bit more xx
Ahhhhhhh. I see! Thanks I suppose it's quite hard to change the habits of a lifetime of fast eating. I think that will be a challenge when I get there...
Sounds like you are doing well. Yes eating slowly is something I am worried about, but I guess it takes time and practice. Well done so far, it's really interesting to read that as I will have my op soon.
Wow, 6 miles? That's amazing. That would be harder for me, as I am not familiar with many routes, as I am visually impaired. Would love to do that though. Good job. Bet you are tired but pleased to have done that.
yeah really shocked i managed it lol and apart from feet being a little sore, and a bit achey i dont feel too bad. very pleased i have always loved walking, just found it to difficult to do last few yrs so a great step in the right direction xx
well done you are doing so well. my good news is that i have an op date of 21st may.
am actually looking forward to it. feel i am getting somewhere. even your posts sound upbeat. i'm so pleased for you.

I myself am looking forward to being able to run, not just walk. Although I know walking is great, and I enjoy it, but there's always been a freedom that I associated with running for some reason.
