Very Scared

hi ,
I have been waiting for a referral for ages now my gp finally agreed yesterday as he feels it would be best to help with my diabetes and pcos.( in the long run ) although i have wanted it for a long time and done pages and pages of reasearch . i am now suddenly very frightened at the prospect of surgery
Does this pass? :sigh:

i found it came & went in stages , i'm surprised he didn't suggest bypass with you being diabetic

It comes and goes. But mixes with excitement for a possible future without the health and weight issues that may have plagued people for years.

I was more scared of losing all mobility, a possible heart attack and my kids being ashamed. The fear about the op paled into insignificance when I weighed it up.

think possitive, hope they get to you quick and i'm sure all will fine then it onward and downward as they say on here

he did say the surgeon may well say i would be best suited with bypass or the sleeve but im so scared about band, do not know how i would cope with bypass. only because my dad had to have oesphagectomy due to cancer and he was so sick and in crictal care for ages so it makes me quite nervous. i am probally over thinking everything.
