Hiya! I'm a north tees pt and not a darlo one but the teams run side by side and have some of the same clinicians! In my experience the quicker you loose the weight they have asked the quicker you will get your op! I had my seminar 23rd of jan and was told to loose 7kg, I then had an app 7th of feb where I had lost 5kg! They were over the moon and gave me my next app for 6th March, where my consultant also wanted me to have the endoscopy! Had them both on that day, and when I seen the consultant I had lost a total of 10kg. He signed me off for my op, and I got a date of May 7th! I have never looked back and now are nearly 8 weeks post op!

Thanks I've lost 6kg now got a week and a half to go before appointment so could probably lose another kg just bit woried about having endoscopy vomit even if put tooth brush in to far
