Hey, my gp has sent off the request for funding now I know this can take between days and two weeks to come through. I'm hoping I meet the criteria and they don't come back that I need to do other things,
Been on weight watchers on and off since 2009
Been to the dietician since last October
Tried orlistat which made me violently sick
Bmi 41
High risk of diabetes now
Had two kids by c section don't plan on anymore
Been to the gym for weeks on end 2 hours a day 2/3 times a week with no results
In venlafaxin and abilify which both slow the metabolism
Not sure what else I can try to be honest other going down the gastric bypass route, I've done lots of research and read many posts on here and feel its the best solution for now as need to shift this weight so I can be a better mum to my children, that's all I care about is being able to run around after them properly without dying of exhaustion
Does any one know roughly the time scales from request to funding to operation date, that's if in approved anyway.
