Waiting waiting!!!!

So I've been up since 5 and at the hospital for the past 45 min waiting in a room full of people hearing every name being called out except mine aaaaaaaargggghhhh!!!!!
I know I've spent a year waiting for this day and in the grand scheme of things this doesn't matter but I just wanna get in there and I haven't had a sip of water since midnight and my mouth is dry as the dessert!!!

Hope you don't have to wait too much longer Nikki. Are you sure you're not allowed to drink water as we were encouraged to drink water before the op when I had mine done just over a year ago.

I wasn't allowed to drink water for 6 hours before admission but I've seen so many different guidelines on here.

Definitely nothing to eat or drink booooo!!!! Been told in last on the list so I could be sat here a few hours think its time for a little shut eye cxx

Are you waiting on your own with your overnight bag? I was told nil by mouth from midnight the night before and that I couldn't bring anything with me as I would be in a seated waiting area (no bed, no locker). Bit of a pain as it means I can't even take my phone or my pillow :cry:Hope you get called soon and wishing you the best of luck with your op x x
