An inmate of Broardmoor who murdered and ate human flesh from one woman,gorged on crisps and cakes,his weight ballooned to 23st so after just 3 months gets a band on the nhs.With his private ensuite room it came to 15k!What the hell is wrong with our country????

Can't say it surprises me, we have always been a country that seems to punish those that stay within the law and reward those that don't. Makes you wanna go out and break the law doesn't it...not!!

Wonder if he had any comobidities? Am sure many people would prefer he'd just be left to stay fat and get ill, but human rights would not allow that. They would probably argue that in prison he does not have the food and exercise choices a free person has.

What???? That is insane. Absolutely mad and an insult to every good person who goes through years of jumping through hoops to get surgery on the nhs and or puts them self in debt to pay for surgery. Wow. I had to look it up to be able to believe it and still in shock that it's true.

You would think their diets could be better controlled not to contribute to more strain on the nhs,bring back bread and water!They are better fed,kept safe and warm,than some pensioners are.

I agree, I'm all for human rights but I do think we need to get things into perspective. Children, disabled and elderly need to be having their needs met before 23 year old cannibals. It's just plain common sense. Crazy world we live in.

Cos they have food brought in and tuck shops probably!Couldnt let the poor souls do without their treats.There is a notorious Child killer in a hospital down the road from me who has been on hunger strike for 12 years and fed through a tube,he is the size of a house and wont die of starvation any time this side of the next twenty years!

I think when you decide to take another humans rights you no longer have any for your own.

Dont even get me started on this...
I am broke been a single parent with no support for a long time but I have saved for my band as their is no funding becuase I live in an affluent area...

It makes me feel sick to be honest that he is getting this treatment..

A police man i know told me that in prison imates get a selection of 8 different meals..

When there are law abiding people out there that struggle to pay for food it is so disgusting!!

I read about this here's me worked since I left school sat sobbin in drs office being told I wouldn't get funding cos in not fat enough maybe if I'd been a killer etc is get if no problem gggrrrr makes me so so mad! X
