Hi June
I would weigh myself weekly on my own scales in the same place at the same time every Monday morning, once i got a bit further down the line i weighed myself every two weeks. As long as you try not to weigh yourself everyday because your weight will fluctuate on a daily basis xxx
Thats good advice Allie Shame I dont listen to it lol....Im on and off those scales almost every day and I get the right hump if they dont show a loss So dont do what I do June XX
Well, I'll admit I do weigh myself every day, but I accept the ups and downs and only record my weight once a week. I record the data in a spreadsheet and a weight loss chart.
hi June
I weigh everyday but I wouldn't recommend it. I try not to let it affect my mood when I haven't lost or if I have moved upwards but I have to say it does make me feel miserable - even if it's half a pound which is nothing. I would get into a good habit of weighing once a week and stick to it although it is really tempting particularly in the early days
good luck with whatever you decide

I charted my weight loss from the point of my pre op medical assessment where I weighed 400 pounds. I weighed myself at least three times a day though I only charted it once a week every Sunday morning. Even now I weigh myself daily
Somebody sent me a weight loss spread sheet so if you want it feel free to pm me your email address.
As for weighing i used to do it everyweek, some weeks i'd go twice expecting a miracle. Now sometimes i go weekly, sometimes i don't bother. But then as a 'slow loser' there isn't much to get excited about some weeks!
A good friend of mine who is at goal has always tried to get me to weigh monthly but i can't wait that long....
