Weird feeling??!

Hello.
I am one week post op and everything is going well; getting a bit bored of the liquid diet, but only one week to go!
Since yesterday I can feel something slightly on my right under the sternum. It doesn't hurt, but I can feel something. I am also still quite bloated, especially at night.
I was wondering if any of you had experienced this?

Hi Gerry it doesnt state what surgery you have had but I believe if you have had a band it may be your port you can feel. Good luck with your recovery. xx

I had a band fitted last week.
I don't think it is my port as it is on my left side. Also this thing I feel is quite big. As big as my hand nearly. Could it be my liver?

It may be scar tissue?

I have scar tissue under every incision and feels like a very hard ball. I get it when having injections too. Must have cheap skin

I think I am a little bit too "in touch" with my own body. Since the op last week I notice every like aches and strange feelings :-(
I am becoming a bit of an hypochondriac!!
I am so scared something might go wrong. Like I am scared to cough in case it flips the port...

Your liver goes from the right over to the left, over the top of your stomach but is and under your ribs.

If you are worried, ring your provider to check where your port is and then if you still have concerns see your GP xx
