Well first day on sloppies and had a small omelette as my provider suggests and after about 4 mouthfuls, suddenly felt a pressure/ fullness and nauseas and felt I had trapped wind! Stopped and after a few small burps and trying not to panic eased off!

I had chewed it and eaten very slowly! I assume this was a PB! Lesson learned I think! Lol :)

Not everyone can manage eggs after being banded. You was only banded 2 weeks ago its way to early to try eggs am surprised they asked you to try it so soon tbh ( just goes to show how all providers differ on their techniques) As u said lesson learned xx

I am over 2 years banded and still cannot manage eggs Nor would I like to try again. Listen to how your body responds to certain foods, it will soon tell you if it isnt the right kind of foods for you xx

Wow ok that's crossed off the list for now! Will see what my body can tolerate next! Lol cottage pie went down ok last night! :)1

I found at the sloppy stage I was ok with scrambled egg (altho I don't like them lol) but couldn't manage the omelette until I was on normal food, at which point I filled it with ham and chicken for extra protein :)

It certainly does hurt tho when somethings not right!

Omelette is a bit too firm for the sloppy stage, scrambled with extra milk etc might be ok.

Unless your provider means a sloppy omelette like they do on saturday kitchen - bleurgh! :yuk: xx
