They have never ever fitted my legs b4 now but now 10 months post op iv tried a pair on and they fit whooooo

How fab! It is a major milestone and I know I started buying all sorts of boots to the knee once they started fitting.

I love that's it's actually the very simple things in life that can make us so proud and happy when our weight is under control...boots and jeans is always a look I have dreamed of! In the mean time I will stick to my old lady ankle snow boots! ha ha xx

Last year pre-op I found some high-leg heeled boots wide foot fitting in Evans & felt fantastic in them they fitted my chunky calves beautifully & I could fit my insoles in a size 6 ( I measure a 5 but need more space for the insole. This year my calves have shrunk by 14cm each & my feet are slimmer to do I now have floppy boots & feet that swim in them. Yesterday I went to buy some more in the sale picked up some 5.5's to try & because of the insole not one fitted came away very deflated seems Clarks shoes are not wide enough still even when they state wide fitting. Grr. Back to the net search & hope I can find some that fit & be as comfortable as these I'm wearing now are.

That's brill, u look really good. Can't wait to wear boots even the extra wide calf fitting don't fit me at the mo

simply be do very wide calf they give you the measurement so if you do that at least you will know before being depressed be having to send them back xx and i must admit i hardly send anything back i buy just take it to nearest charity shop-

no just rubbish with it but i've learned my lesson and am much more astute now plus i don't work full time any more so we have to cut our cloth accordingly as they say x

Haha cutting your cloth... very appropriate since you are using significantly less cloth now

I went out to the Bullring today in my Wellies! They're the Joules Posh Wellies, and I'm so chuffed to get my legs in them, that I skipped round Selfridges in them without a care for what anyone thought!
It most certainly is the little things in life.....
