What food do you struggle with ??

Just thought it would be interesting to know what foods ganders struggle with , I'm newly banded and would be nice to have a heads up on certain foods x
 
I have been able to eat all foods for the whole 20 months of having my band, even at 12.5mls in a 14ml band. It's now currently empty due to issues.
 
Out of choice, I don't have bread, rice or pasta. I was warned that these can be problem foods.

I struggle with cooked peppers (raw are fine), oranges and cold potatoes!
 
I can't manage bread (or rolls etc), rice,potatoes unless they are mashed. I also struggle with the skins of tomato and bananas. Anything stodgy like cake also is a problem. I can manage a bit of pasta but find it heavy.
Im fine with a pitta bread and a jacket spud without the skin. Meat can be an issue but I try tiny pieces and chew chew chew.

In general white carbs, - Rice, bread, heavy cakes, chips, more than a few handfuls of potatoes. Essentially anything that breaks down to a glutenious bolus.
Meats and fish that are too dry.
Fruits with skin

It's all trial and error.

One thing I would say is if you find something that doesn't agree with you first time stay away from it not matter how much you love. The band can be a double edged sword sometimes in that if you really want to get something down you can, but you pay for it with either horrid stomach pains a few hours later or wieght loss that grounds to a sharp halt.
 
I'm 9 weeks post op with an empty band so, so far not struggled with anything really, although i do avoid the things my team recommended to avoid ie. bread pasta over cooked rice...... the only one thing i really avoid myself is tomatoes because of the skin, but that's not a band issue lol is more my head............... after weeks on pureed food i struggled to get back to normal foods for a while :) anything with tough skins just really put me off lol
