anita x

hi Anita, its where they put a tiny camera down your throat to check that everything is ok :) xxx

does everyone have to have this done ?

I haven't had to have it done, my op is next thursday and no-one has ever mentioned me having it done x

i think its only done if you have some kind of complication, ive not had one xx

I had mine last week and am now on the waiting list for a sleeve. It depends on your pct but apparently pretty much all sleevers and bypassers are having them at sunderland now but earlier thuis year it was just bypassers unless there were complications - reflux etc.

I hope you don't have to have one as it was just awful. Most people recommend being sedated but personally (as horrendous as it was) it was over so quickly that I wouldn't have wanted to drag it out - just close your eyes and think of your happy place x

I had one years ago after some tummy troubles and it wasn't the best experience! Though in hindsight, it didn't take very long at all, soon over x

i had one before my bypas, and had it years ago as well, i would have and did have the sedation, its really not nice and if like i am costrofobic (cant spell lol) u will fine it hard i think because you feel like you cant breath... it is over fast and once its down its not as bad but i really dont want another one ever :/
