If you had your time again with your consultant what questions would you ask that you didn't the first time?

I would ask which surgery he felt would benefit me more rather than me telling him what i want done. He's the expert.

I ask for specific details of the pre op diet, as I don't drink milk no one was quite sure at first if rice milk would be alright.
As it happens it was.

I wanted to know his mortality rate and post op infection rates of the hospital - because I am a goon !

Loved one of the things someone wrote on here once and that was pre op the anaesthetist asked "is there anything you want to know before we put you off to sleep" She said " Have you had breakfast and do you have a hangover" I found that so funny !!

I wanna ask him why is there such an early morning kick out time at thg
Also to really explain post op diet and how I would feel as I got tbh I was not expecting to feel how I did after.

Also what meds they give u to go home with??
