I was going to ask the same thing. I'm 4 days post op and so tired its unbelievable. I'm managing to walk and do my breathing exercises, but after that I need to sleep for an hour.
sorry your not feeling well Toll are you drinking enough from what I have read on banding that seems to be the key to recovery and moving around to get rid of the wind? Also did they give you any fill? Am sure a bander will be along shortly to offer some better advice either that or call your team for information would rather bother them that sit worrying
It does vary, I did feel tired in the first week post op, less so into the second week, but from about 10 days I was back in the full swing of everything, it can take a while and will vary from person to person.
If you need the rest, rest, it can only be good for you
I had two weeks off but after a week I was up and able to do a few things but honestly I was in pain one day went bed and woke up in no pain!
So I hope ur pain goes v soon
Hope you feel better soon. Just remember your calorie intake is probably quite low at this stage which will make you feel tired and weak! Keep taking regular fluids and rest if you need it, I felt very weak myself at this point!
You will feel so much better when you get onto mushy food!
Good luck
xx
