Hiya, not long now!!! I am having my pre op on 4 May, and am thinking that maybe the op will be about 4 - 6 weeks after that?

hi thats good the op can be up to 12 weeks after pre-op but hopfully it wont be lol hows it going with you then x

only things i needed in hospital was....

dresing gown and slippers for the walk to theatre and wandering round the ward.
toiletries for when you have that very nice hot shower
night clothes for when you can finally get rid of the gown
change of clothes, unless you wear home what you wear in there
money for hospicom type thing if you want to use it.

other than that i would reccomend something to do... mobile phone, book, laptop, dvd player, knitting....whatever takes your fancy

EAR PLUGS were a must for me

Nightwear
Mobile phone
Dressing gown and slippers
Something to do - music, books magazines etc though I couldn't concentrate on anything!!
Whatever you'd use for dry lips!!
I needed my bum wiper and wipes!! :sigh:

Was sent for hourly walks so didn't have time for much else - lol

And as above positive vibes and lots of family hugs!!
