when should my surgery be??

hi all, I have been on the gastric bypass journey for some time now, what with my GP and dieticians etc,

I've had my appointment with the surgeon at Derby hospital back in Feb of this year, and then my second appointment in May, and funding has been approved in July and I thought that the next letter I got would have been my date, I got the letter last week and its for an appointment with the dietician on 18th Dec, Im hoping its to discuss pre op diet and my date will be soon after????? what do you guys think?

its long wait for appointments nearly a year
after going to hospital, dieticans etc
i was refused so had to go private

thanks Misselvis, im at the year stage with my latest date ive been given (18th Dec) as I was referred 3rd Jan... so hopefully looking at early in 2013...
