I am currently using the Bassetts soft and chewy multivitamin for all the family, as i cant cope with the Centrium horse tablets that i had been recommended by my WLS provider, does anyone know if these are strong enough?

hmmm there childrens arent they?... my first response to this would be no but i not sure hun hopefully someone will come along and help u better x

The Multivit is really just an insurance policy to make up for some nutrients which you might miss out on when you are progressing onto a normal diet. How far are you with normal foods and eating?

I am not sure Kelly, they say for all the family, so i chucked em in the trolly.
As for normal foods Katrine, i am still on yoghurt and soup, my WLS provider recommend i stay on them for 4 weeks post op! ouch

Hi i know of a few people that have had the bassett ones for a couple of wks before going onto the tablet form, funnily enough i bought myself some of them today ready for post op, obviously i'm pre op but from what i've seen they're be ok for a bit :)

I came home from hospital with everything in tablet or capsule form and didn't have any problems taking them.

I was prescribed forceval and for the first 6 weeks squeezed all the gunk out of it into yoghurt and took it that way.

Different teams say different things I was told sanatogen gold. Ask them to find out
