OK everyone,
I have been research like crazy. I called my PCT and asked for Bariatric Surgery guidelines in North West London.
They seemed quite vague and said they would get in touch in due course and so I thought in that time I would continue to search online for up to date information.
I found it!!!
According to the literature I found on the PCT website for my local area; I am suitable for WLS. With a BMI of 44 (it does say 35 but I am assuming that anything above that would also meet the criteria??) and PCOS. I have an appointment to see my GP on Friday and I will go armed with all the relevant forms and a covering letter.
I am so hopeful and cannot thank you enough for making me see that there is no time to waste.
