Feel really sorry for u! It's SRH all over going from my experience! I came in the 17th Dec about my pain discharged 23rd Dec readmitted 29th Dec and still here with no answers as to why I have the pain or the vomiting!
I'll be writing to PALS when I'm out and I think you should too. I also think they should do an assessment before the pre op diet starts and then the one during. 1 week before isn't long for pre op and u have the worry of something going wrong in ur bloods too! So could all be for nothing! Hopefully things go ok for u at the end of Jan and I hope I don't see u in here... in the nicest way possible!!! X
