ok thought I would ask!

I have a stitch like feeling to the left side (i know the stomach sits slightly left side of the body!

plus not going to the toilet (number 2's) sorry guys I know its a bit personal, I went about three days after op however it was the same consistency of the fluids I'm taking in! but now haven't been

can any of the sleevers help?

I have had that too and I am 3 1/2 weeks out. I have been told I am either eating too quickly, too much, or not drinking enough. I thought it was trapped wind but at 3 weeks out they said it's unlikely to still be that.

I'm 2 weeks post op & can concur that I to have the stitch feeling on the left side,it does seem to get better with each passing day,but as for toilet woes,no troubles at all

They take the stomach out of the left incision so can make it sorer. You probably have internal stitches so may be that you can feel, as for the toilet go and get something quick smart or you'll be in pain. Liquid senna, dulcoease or dulcolax if its bad. It's an ongoing problem I'm afraid. I'm trying syrup of figs this week

I recently had some problems with that area I saw the surgeon on Wednesday he confirmed that it was the site healing. He also said the cut they make is a lot deeper than what we think and ends near the sternum (so around the stomach site) he also said even though I was six weeks out it is possible to have some issues with it. I haven't had any issues since. Hope this helps Kaz
