I am glad alls well with you
take it easy
I'm still eating reasonably well, 4 small meals a day, bout 5 teaspoons at a time however weening off anti sickness (they run out tomorrow completely - some finished today) and do I know about it! Makes me think that during my appointment on Friday I shouldnt have refused to take/continue to take anti sickness for the next year or so until things right themself. In the greater scheme of things they help alot (I can see and feel this now lol) but they can cause greater side effects and damage in the long run such as nerve ending damage in the face etc.. Ive been unlucky enough to experience some paralysis in the left side of my face and leg while driving and its pretty scary stuff. My GP refuses to represcribe the drugs I was given by the team, and the consultant i saw says I need something else to take away the 5 I was on in exchange for one pill a few times a day however need to wait for the specialist gastroenterologist to see me, and recomend something. in the meantime the team will not prescribe these for me.
Ive been advised that if I regress to how and cant keep water down to go immediately to A&E who will more than likely administer some kind of anti sickness/rehydrate if needed. Im just trying to keep one step ahead of the game and keep busy to keep my mind off things - life has to go on and some things sadly take time.
Armed with high fibre puree, liquids, vitamins and high protein yogurts and ready for whatever comes up
no pun intended there.. try to stay positive and not stress too much as that will just tie extra tummy knots and reduce intake. All you can do is keep trying, keep sipping and when you get a beak when you can take in the fluids, have a good dose. I found a nice long bath and shower help - relaxes the stomach and your body absorbs water to reach equilibrium and rehydrate (hence the wrinkled fingers and toes). I swear it might sound crazy but it also helps with the ickyness.
Keep your chin up
shout if you need anything x
