4 months plus sleevers and bypassers

I'm 17 weeks post op and tend to have, a small bowl of cereal for breakfast, lunch is 3-4 small crackers with low fat cheese. Dinner can be half a jacket pot with cottage cheese, or cottage pie, chilli or faggots, pots and gravy all on a side plate (only can manage about half a plate) like someone else mentioned i eat the rest for supper x
 
regarding oven chips, the back of the bag suggests that the fat and sugar content are fine. could only manage 3 though lol x

I know you only asked for bypassers and sleevers :confused: but I just wanted to say that no matter which op we have we can still enjoy 'social' eating all beit with a much smaller / different meal than we would have had pre op.

I love eating out but I know my limitations and as Chris said I have to keep saying i havent finished yet! lol most of our favourite eateries know I cant eat much though :D
 
Great thread! I am 11 weeks out and breakfast consist of egg and cheese wraps, iced lattes or as most of you would say milky coffee. Lunch half of a sandwich ham or turkey and cheese on wheat or chili is a favorite! Dinner is chicken mostly if I go out I get a starter or I get a meal and eat a third of it and take the rest home. I only get sick if I don't take the time to chew it enough. It's all trial and error, every day is different going for dinner tonight wish me luck!

Bex at your stage if i was eating out i would share a main course but get extra veg or side salad or choose a starter. Several of the Italians i eat at do half portion pasta dishes and they are great but even then are too big but i eat the veg and meat and just a tint but of pasta. Unless the childrens meals are the same as the adult meals i never bother with them as they are usually processed rubbish.
My sister and i ate out in London the other day and they did a sharing TBone steak with rosmary potatoes and spinich it was ideal for us.
