hope ur all doing well x

im 5 days till surgery and still have the feeling its not going to happen. did anyone else have this?

i have had the sniffles and have been left with a cough, but hasnt gone on my chest. Doctor gave me precautionary anti biotics but have read they wont do surgery if ur on anti biotics!! Grrrrrr!!! Damned if i do..damned if i dont.

What would u do?

For some unknown reason lots of us get a cold in the week before surgery ... may be the diet pre op, but most of us seem to get there. A chest infection is another thing though & Mel had her op cancelled last week due to this. I would ring your team re the anti biotics as if you do not actually have a chest infection this seems to be overkill. You need their specialist advise on this one, hunni as you are so close.
