Advice needed!!!

Sarah some fab advice already. a few of the things i used to do to get extra exercise especially if i had kids who were less mobile.
1, Jigsaws but on a table and no sitting down to do it only used when the temptation to visit the kitchen arouse through boredom ten pieces maximum at a time and a glass of water in between. The idea of standing to do it is once you have had enough of standing you go and sit down again but check yr posture whilst standing pull them tummy muscles in and do some pelvic floor exercises.
2, Things to go up stairs don't take them up all in one go. go up 5 steps and place them on the next step and then come down, then go up 10 steps and do the same till you reach the top and then you can put them away. if you find that you have had enough when on the 10th step leave them for a while and then go back for another 5 steps later.
3, again involving the stairs use yr bottom step as a form of exercise stepping up and down till slightly out of puff.
4 invest in a wii and get some of the dance games. all done in the comfort of yr own home and as the weight drops off treat yrself to a wii fit.
obviously only you know yr limitations so dont push it.
