Advise needed plz!!

I'm just over a wk post op, and i am suffering with
sh***y breath and a furry tongue :cry:

Is this normal, and why does it happen??

Anyone have an idea???

I had exactly the same for about 10 days I just bought mouth wash and brushed my tongue, horrible isn't it. I will be 3 weeks post opon Monday and I haven't got it now.

Relax hun you are perfectly normal, I had a furry tongue for about 3 weeks, it went when I was finally able to go onto purees. I think it is caused by trauma, dehydration and ketosis which all happen directly post-op. I haven't heard of anyone who has found a remedy just a bit of time & patience! You'll be back to your fur-less tongue and normal breath soon, promise!

The only cure I fond was to scrape my tongue. The best I found was an upturned desert spoon. Gross I know but the furriness was making me sick. x x
