Aghhh need to lose 5k

Ok so need to lose 5kg in 3 months, and it starts today, I really need to do this! I'm going to write my food down every day, everyone is welcome to write there's on too and if anyone e notices something they think I could change please shout out!!!! X

Day 1
B: small porridge with yogurt and Strawberrys
Snack: banana
Lunch: small brown bun with tuna and salad
Tea: jacket pot with half tin of beans
Snack 40 cal ice lolly.
 
Oh and I'm also changing the size of my plate too to a side plate to trick my greedy brain lol
 
So roughly 11 lbs. Good luck on your journey. Just be mindful of eating too much fruit due to high sugar content.
 
Perfect :) wd on starting your logging hunni gl on the 5kg are you logging on myfitnesspal too? another great tool is some measuring spoons, i really didn't realise how big my porridge portion had gotten on the years, once under the hospital i cut it back to 3tblsp or one of those individual portion sachets extra calories can creep in there so easy :) wishing you all the very best..... so good to see a nice positive mindset pre op :) wd you can do this x x x
 
Yeah I was eating a huge bowl of porridge, the dietician explained how many calories can creep in even when you think your eating healthy food, I also noticed the sugar content in low fat yogurts!!!!! It's crazy how much is in, so may cut back on yogurts too. The weekend is worse for me so I'm making my own Chinese to cut the cals and additives down.
 
whop whop all sounds fab hunni it certainly stands you in good stead for post op too :) the sooner you get you head in right place the easier it is. Home cooked rules in my house :) that way u know exactly whats going in !!!! Chinese sounds delish im not that adventurous lol

Day 2

B: two thin slices toast with 1/2 tin beans
Snack: bag of crisps
Lunch: jacket pot with tuna and salad no dressing
Tea: small plate of pasta and tomato/onions/mushrooms
Ice lolly (30 cals)

Not finding it to hard, I normally eat 3 bags crisps a day so don't shoot me for one lol
 
when i started all this i was on 1 meal a day they ended up getting me eating 7 times a day breakfast snack lunch snack dinner snack supper all small portions so dont think your 1 snack of crisps is bad and if you like pombears are best 77 calories a pack
 
pombears are great as are wotsits. Food diary looks good! good luck with it all. Other low fat things you can try which will help fill you up and are high in protein are things liek chicken slices and cottage cheese! x x
 
Yeah deffo gunna get some of them. I'm acctually enjoying not feeling so bloated!!
 
Day 3

B: two slices of thin toast & 3 hotdogs
Snack: crisps
Lunch: small portion of pasta and tomatoes
Tea: omelette (leak, bacon no fat, one small sliced potato)
Chomp 120 cals

My weigh day will be Fridays so I'll be weighing in after 4 days so not expecting any huge weight loss , but my target is 1lb a week so asking as I hit that I'm happy.
 
looking good to me dont see much wrong with that though maybe need to get bit more fruit/veg in
 
Yeah deffo more fruit and veg so shopping today I've just got a slow cooker so hoping to cook some healthy meals in that. I'm not a huge fruit lover but going to try harder maybe having a fruit salad instead of chomp or ice lolly and try cutting the crisps out next week aghhhhh I love crisps lol
 
Day 4

B: two slices of thin toast
Snack: low fat yogurt
Lunch: small baked potato with tuna and salad
Tea: seafood salad (lettuce, cucumber , spring union, crouton, prawns and seafood sticks)

Other things :-( : 2 bags of Pom bear crisps. Choc mousse (50 cals)

Had to really force my self to stop on the crisps as I could easily eat 4 bags lol . Weigh in tomorrow, hope I've lost 1lb

Haha lol what ya like! I don't think your snacks are too bad tbh! Fingers crossed for tomorrow for you x
