Drinking is empty calories, gives you fatty liver syndrome, increases size of liver (not good with a band especially) piles on bloat around the middle etc etc. post surgery you have a smaller stomach, and alcohol gets absorbed through the stomach so hits you quicker, it's also highly addictive and I guess many of us have addictive traits in our personality otherwise we wouldn't have ate the way we did.... it's a mugs game really, but I'm just about to have a Pimms because the sun is shining, and had a beer last night with my miniscule curry. It's mad, we really should just ditch the booze, it sure would accelerate weight loss. I need a slap, all that money on surgery, all the stress and I am literally pouring calories with no nutritional value whatsoever down my neck...what's that all about?
