Before I heard my devastating news about my Dr.

I had a letter from the diabetes clinic. I thought it would have gone away as other's have after weight loss. I cancelled appts as I thought I didn't need to go but just have had blood results and it's still there.

Hi M, I don't know how high my bloods are, just a letter telling me they are and an appt at diabetic clinic.

WLS doesn't cure diabetes, it can for some reduce their readings to the point where it appears to have gone.

But once you have diabetes, you will always have diabetes.

Some people with all the best will in the world, diet control or tablets still can have high readings.

At least it has been caught again and something can now be done. Rather that than have the side effects and complications.

Just focus on how great you are doing, and maybe in time it will go into remission.
