Anyone else from Essex?

I'm not from Essex but I had my bypass at L&D 11days ago, the staff are so nice & helpful, good luck on your journey x

I am still on Tier 3. It took me months to actually get as far as Tier 3. I have to complete 6 months, have 2 months left.
What happens after GP then refers you to Luton & Dunstable?

Are you doing Tier 3 with L&D? I did mine with Addenbrookes of Cambridge and are now under L&D for surgery. I have been on this journey for nearly 3 years.

Hi
No I was not allowed to. My GP wanted to refer me to L&D but CCG wouldn't fund it. They had commissioned 'Morelife" to provide their Tier 3 program.

Hmm. I am just going along with it to fulfil Tier 3 requirement. I have a one-to -one programme, its really cognitive therapy. Had to argue with them to actually provide a service. Have you finished the programme? Where was/is your Morelife course?

What is the procedure once you have completed the course? Do they then write to your GP who then refers you to the hospital for surgery?

I have to go to Harlow as well. :) They only did a one-to-one because I complained to the CCG because Morelife wouldn't give me a date for the course in Grays. I kept being told they didn't have enough people to run a group and I would have to wait. What is the procedure once you have completed the course? Do they then write to your GP who then refers you to the hospital for surgery

Did MoreLife or the hospital give you a target weight to loose?
Was it your Gp or Morelife that gave you the choice of hospitals?
Sorry to ask so many questions. x
