Anyone had op at Ninewells Hospital?!

Morning! Had consultation at Ninewells yesterday. They have recently started bariatric surgery and just wondered if anyone has had op there?

Im having bypass surgery at NHS Ninewells soon. I have been waiting 2yrs come September and had to lose 10% of my body weight . I am hypothyroid, insulin resistant, vit D deficient, have fibromyalgia and several other problems . I am having barium swallow and camera down throat in August, getting ready, and been on hold for thyroid to get stable. I have been on low carb diet for nearly 2yrs . I visit dietician at Ninewells every 6wks or so from the very start. so lets hope wont be too much longer

Hi! Wow you have a lot going on there! Personally I think the Ninewells team are great and don't think I would have lost the weight I have this year without the ongoing support and encouragement from them, especially my dietician.
