Iv read lots on gastric bands and most people say that is relatively pain less , so why am I in so much pain not just wind pain but inside my tummy like a sharp stabbing pain !!! Is this normal ??? X

I was in Dolan park Saturday, got home yesterday and I'm suffering from shooting pains this afternoon I think I need stronger pain killers :-(

I didn't think the band hurt at first but today is so sore

I think you need to take it easy and be kinder to yourself. The pains will eventually die down. Everyone feels pain differently and recovers differently. You have had a lot of poking and prodding going on inside you and these surgeons aren't the gentlest lot - you do get a lot of internal bruising.

Get some stronger pain killers and some rest.
