Banders.......Feeling Full?

One way to try and get the sense of fullness is to make sure your meal lasts just over 20 minutes, it takes that long for the brain to realise the stomach has food.

My surgeon said, if you get to the end of a meal and it's still hot, you have eaten too fast....LOL:D

Hi Caz, thats what I try and do, I find if I have to feed the baby at the same time it really slows me down or I just pop on here and type while having lunch it works a treat and stops me from eating too fast
 
I sometimes stop about half way through and wait 3-5 minutes and then if I want more I carry on, but sometimes, that break allows me to sense weather I am full or not yet.

I am learning that eating food is no longer a sprint race...LOL
 
another tip is to put the knife & fork down between mouthfulls and do not pick them up again until the previous mouthfull has been chewed and swallowed, this helped me to slow down alot.
