Birthday Cake???

Does anyone have a recipe for a bariatric friendly birthday cake??

Its my birthday on Sunday & my kids always make me a cake & my eldest got upset when I said I couldn't eat any this year.

Are there any recipes or has anyone got a low fat/sugar cake from anywhere?

[Fat Again]

I know a fruit cake you can make, I can eat small portions on it and don't dump.

1 Kilo of dried mixed fruit ( I buy the cheapest one from Asda)
2 Cups of plain flour
2 Cups of orance juice

All you do is soak the flour and fruit overnight in the orange juice.

Add the mixture to a large cake tin / glass dish and cook for about 2 hours on around 160

I put tin foil over the top because it can burn.

Its not to everyones taste, but I love it and its not high in fat or calories.

You can use protein powder to bake, that eggface blog woman does all the time. Im sure there is a recipe out there if you have a google x
