I'm off out tonight to Tims gig in Sutton and I've just eaten the inside of a fish pie. Was in pastry with potato on top and ate about an inch square of the pastry. Wish I hadn't. Think I'm having a mini dump. Got a terrible tummy ache and feel really sick. Hope I feel better soon, got a taxi coming in an hour. :sigh:

Aww heck, hope it calms down for you ((((hug))), xxx

Feeling much better after my shower and put my make up on. Got a Buchestem under my top lip for the sickness so think I'll be ok. Just waiting for the taxi to arrrive now. And it's snowing. Hope it stops soon or I'll be driving Tims car home in the snow afterwards.

Hi Kate,

Hope your tummy has settled by the time UR at the gig. I just wanted to ask what type of gigs your hubby does?

Does he play guitar or drums in a band, or is he a singer? Or is it a comedy gig?

You may have mentioned it before somewhere, and I have missed previous threads where it was mentioned -- I'm just being nosey / curious [delete as applicable!]

Best wishes,
Sharon

I found the worst thing was getting straight into a taxi after having trouble eating something. I don't think I dump, I'm a sleevie, but we were at a steak house and I had a small amount of mini beef burger that was obviously very chewy, not soft mince...it was like real steak only chopped, and it gave me such pain, and we got straight into a taxi which made me feel much worse.

Hope you evening went well hun.... and stay away from pastry!! xxx

hope you had a lovely evening Kate :) xxx

Can anyone explain why chewy meat should cause problems for a sleeve?

Sharon, he plays lead guitar in a covers band. He was playing when I first set eyes on him nearly 22 years ago and all 5 of them are still together except for the drummer who became an alcoholic and they had to replace him. They're lovely blokes and all good friends now. I love going to see them play, I used to go to all their gigs but when the children came along I started going a lot less because of getting babysitters. I expect I'll start going more now the children are getting to an age where they can be left longer.

They have a website. Think it's ok to post it as it's not weight loss forum related but I'm sure someone will remove it if it's not allowed.
