I'm just wondering ladies if anyone else seems to experience this. When it's my period my band must get really tight and get a tight chest any advice xx
my band is tight for a week around when totm should be (even though i had a coil which has now been removed and my body is trying to readjust) and then 3 loose weeks ... which is why i darent go too tight with the restriction of the band. In maintenance this means my weight can go up by 5 lbs each month and then drop those 5lbs in the tight week. the joys of having a band. its the internal water retention making the band feel tighter due to the swelling around it. try not to worry about it as stress is one of the worst things for you ... maybe try protein shakes rather than food at totm to make sure you dont resort to too much bad slider food? x
it's entirely normal that the band gets tighter at the ToTM - I have a coil fitted so do not experience periods but I can tell from my body when I would ovulate and when the period would be, this month I've super noticed it cos I have too much restriction which is why this past week has been even worse than the previous 3.
Well had a really stressful weekend and my band seems sensitive to stress gets tighter. But so looking forward to some pie and mushy peas. WELL that will teach me had my first mouthful STUCKKKK I felt ill frothing at the mouth I'd got that much salvia . Never again chucked it in bin when I came home had a cup of soup . What a nightmare.
Yes first mouthful didn't chew enough. Oh well saved me all them calories x feel as though stomach is a bit tender now do will be careful for next few day
Hope you feel better soon! And as bad as it is when you get stuck thats what i love about the band too stops you eating the things you shouldnt. (most of the time lol) x
It's a shock to the system when you get such a reminder - don't hesitate to go back to liquids for a day or two to help things settle down. Feel better soon!
