I am more angry than I can possibly express about their simply appalling attitude.

Have Health and Safety been informed? Surely they need to be. That should put a stop to all this dissembling nonsense. And that is what this is!

Hi I did reply to your thread earlier but it seems to have vanished . . . I am so sorry to hear what happened to you makes me wince just thinking about it. Be careful if you go back into work (within 3 days) employers like this as it means that the matter is ‘not reportable’ to the Health and Safety Executive. The advice you have on here is good . . . . if you are in pain/injured you must seek medical advice (GP or A & E). Stay clear of Claims Management Companies and middlemen and seek advice form a qualified specialist solicitor (exp. with the possible redundancy issues) . . . if I can help ring me 07541228444, Kevin (Solicitor)

thanks kevin my husbands work is sorting it out for me, they are in the field so to speak.

i went back to work within the 3 days as i could not afford the time off , but has been reported to the correct people and i am being told my head office is now dealing with the issue. thankfully the weak part of the floor has been fixed so hopefully it wont happen again- not that i will be going in there alone again.

still in a lot of pain i have pulled the ligaments so am taking tramadol to take the edge off.

just worried now cos they said to wait 4 weeks before they refer me to physio which will take me bang on when i am having my op . so i hope it hurrys up and fixes itself.

So so, weight loss is slow but steady.
Having problems with some foods as I am now off pureed and onto soft diet, with drier textures it feels like its sticking which then makes me vomit, even if you try to drink to help food go down it just makes it worse.
