I was wondering whether Dawn French has had it done but it might just be she is eating differently now she is living on her own.

Just seen the pictures of her from the recent Glamour awards. She looks stunning - then again, she always did! It never ceased to amaze me how many men found her stunning even at her biggest. She's just a beautiful person I reckon.

dawn french was my drama teacher before she became famous she was on slimming tablets because she was just ab out to marry lenny henry ,she was as mad as a hatter on them one minute she was fine next minute crying ..great teacher though lol

Does anyone know what happens when you have lost all your weight does the band stop working? I am a bit confused on this as I don't want to look drastic as I only have 11/2 stones to lose .

If you only have that little to lose to start with I doubt that you will be allowed a band. If you have lost your weight with your band and are near the end of your journey the band will be loosened by a defill so you can maintain your weight rather than lose.

Thank you for that answer to my question yes I have gastric band got it fitted in Octber last year and to date have lost 6st 12lbs so I just feel great but a little scared that if they loosen it I will put all my weight back on which I don't want as I have not got a lot of willpower can they not keep it a little bit tight ?
