Clothing Advise please?

Hi

I've had pre-op today and due to be sleeved next Tuesday...
To give me a goal to aim for I have been shopping for a new dress for Christmas.... I know I should have probably waited til near Xmas but I soooo loved the dress.

I'm in size 18 at the moment, so I have bought it in a size 16.... my daughter thinks I should have bought it in a smaller size!!!

Now you see my problem...do I keep the 16 or with all you other post op sleevers out there, do you think I may need a size 14 by Christmas?

The trouble is that you will lose weight in different places at different times. I made the mistake of buying a jumper in a size 18 whilst I was still a 24. It now fits me across the shoulders and bust but is far too tight on the stomach. By the time it fits on the stomach it will be gaping across the chest.

So don't spend a fortune on something that may never get worn. Best to stick to something safe like a pair of jeans.
